Indoor Track and Field Tryout Information Meeting

The Indoor Track and Field coaches will hold an informational meeting on Monday, October 30 from 2:25-2:45p in the Cafeteria. Athletes interested in trying out for the team should attend the meeting to learn about the necessary registrations/paperwork, expectations for tryouts and the criteria for making the team. Baluyot defends state title, boys track team ties for 4th place

Jaren Baluyot won his second consecutive outdoor track and field state championship to score 10 of Broadneck’s 33 points in this weekend’s 4A State Championship meet at Morgan State University.  Vaulting 13-6 to improve his personal best and school record height, Jaren has now won 3 consecutive state titles including the 2017 Indoor Track state

The Bruin Girls Track and Field team had a successful weekend at the 4A East Region Meet.  Julia Drooff took 2nd place in the 300 meter hurdles, Maddy Hurley was 4th in the 3200 and Tori Ochoa vaulted 7-9 to advance to next weekend’s State meet. Binnix, Squires win gold, lead Boys Track and Field to 3rd place finish
