AA County High School Physicals FAQ:

  • When are the physicals?
    • Saturday, June 8th, 2019 from 8-12.
  • How much do they cost?
    • Physicals are free of charge.
  • “I can’t make it on June 10th. Will the physicals be offered on another date as well?”
    • No- this is the ONLY date.
  • Where will the physicals take place?
    • 2000 Medical Parkway (Anne Arundel Medical Center) Suite 101. Once in the building proceed to the lobby for check in (there will be signs).  There is free parking in garage E (Belcher Pavilion).
  • Do I need to sign up for a specific time slot?
    • No- you can come anytime between 8 and 12. The biggest rush is usually right at 8 AM so we recommend coming in a little later to avoid a rush
  • How long will the physicals take?
    • This depends on how many people are there at one time. Typically, the total time is between 30-45 minutes.
  • Do I need a parent present?
    • No, it is not required.
  • Do I need to bring my own form?
    • No- we will have forms available at check in. We are using the same form as last year.  We can also email it to you if you would like to fill it out ahead of time.  Our form is the same as required by the state of Maryland public schools.
  • Who will be performing the physicals?
    • Each athlete will see a physical therapy or athletic trainer, an orthopedic surgeon, and a primary care doctor, PA, or NP
  • Will you send my completed physical form to my school?
    • NO- It is the athlete’s responsibility to keep their form and turn it in to their school.
  • “My child is in middle school. Can they attend?”
    • Yes- We will take middle school students as well as incoming high school students. We will NOT take elementary school students or college students.
  • “My child attends a private school or school in another county, can we attend?”
    • Yes! As long as they are a middle school or high school student they can attend our physicals.
  • How do I sign up?
    • “I can take your child’s name, your phone number, and the school they attend and then you’re all signed up.” OR Call the Pasadena Clinic 443-261-2220
